Settling in and Solar Panels

Well, we've been settling into our house in the tribe since February 26 and it seems like the dust is finally settling. We still have a bunch of boxes to unpack and we're hoping to finish patching and painting a few rooms but all in all it's going well. One of the larger projects we wanted to do the house was updating the solar panels and batteries along with some other solar equipment. Now that it's finally all set up (took me a few days to set it all up and equalize my batteries), I can focus on the rest of the house. Here are some pictures of taking down the old panels and putting up the new ones.

Nuestra Familia

We are Don and Chrissy. We are missionaries in Mexico where there are around 150 indigenous people groups still waiting for someone to tell them the good news of the Gospel. We are working in the city of Chihuahua, supporting our tribal works in any way we can. Don works to maintain our office property with maintenance and building projects as well as any IT support the field may need. He is also teaching a course on the technologies needed for living in remote locations at our national training center, helping future missionaries be prepared for that life. We don't know what new projects or opportunities may come up in the future and we are eager to aid our tribal missionaries in any way we can. We worked and lived for a short time in the mountains of Mexico with the Guarijío people but made the decision to work in the city when our fourth child came into the picture. We remain involved with our teammates there in whatever ways we can from the city. Here you'll find updates and current news from us!
